Vacancy - Vehicle Paint Sprayer - Harrogate

Salary: Basic - £40-45,000 (Dependant on experience)

OTE £50,000

Our client, a privately owned independent Used Car dealership with a fantastic reputation, is looking for recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer/Supervisor

Key Tasks and experience for a Vehicle Sprayer:

• Prepare vehicles to be sprayed in the standards expected from manufacturer
• Mix paint to ensure a perfect match
• Spray painting vehicles to above standards
• Quality check on completion ensuring there are no defects
• Assist team/work colleagues to get the job completed with the same high standards
• The Ideal applicant will be able to produce a high quality of paint spraying from start to finish and you must have experience in water based paints
• You will be an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician with a stable history and must hold a - City Guilds qualification or equivalent
• You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques

The Person:
Candidates will demonstrate:
Strong communication skills for customer service and team communication.
Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times.
Awareness of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations

Candidates will ideally have:
ATA qualification or be a time served technician (ATA not essential)
NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3
Experience in a bodyshop/accident repair environment

Salary:
£40k - £45k basic (depending on experience)
£50k+++ OTE and is uncapped

Working hours/days:
2 shift patterns to suit the candidate
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm
1 in 4 Saturdays (hours as above)
