Pembrook Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Finance Brooker. 

As a Finance Broker, you will play a crucial role in being the first point of contact for all online finance enquiries. Your primary goal will be to ensure every customer enjoys a seamless experience, whilst determining their needs and sourcing the best finance options for them. You have the responsibility of upholding our reputation for exceptional service and you will have the drive and ambition to meet your sales targets.

Key responsibilities 

• Customer Enquiries: Act as the primary point of contact for all finance enquiries, ensuring customers' needs are assessed and they are matched with suitable finance options. Your role is to ensure that they feel supported throughout their finance journey with Forza.
• Communication: Guarantee that customers are communicated with promptly, professionally and respectfully at all times.
• Process Improvement: Assist your department in developing guidelines and processes for an effective customer experience.
• Administration: Ensuring all administration and enquiries are logged on the internal CRM system and to follow up with customers to ensure they have collected the vehicle.
• Fraud Prevention: Undertake checks into both the customers and dealerships ensuring no fraudulent transactions take place.
• To keep your knowledge and understanding of different finance products and options up to date.
• To keep your SAF training and annual completion of 15 hours CPD up to date.
• To ensure you are up to date with GDPR training and follow the Data Protection Act 2018 by ensuring you protect customers' details by pausing the phone recording when taking card details over the phone.

Office Etiquette

• To respond to all communication (email, phone call, text etc.) promptly.
• Organise and maintain a tidy workstation and leave it in a respectable state.
• To use headphones when taking calls to ensure that the working environment is not distracting to others (i.e. not using loudspeaker).
• To obey reasonable managerial instruction.
• To be presentable and dressed in formal office attire (for more information please refer to the uniform section in the employee handbook).

Personal Specifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade, finance sector, bank or broker.
• Strong commitment towards achieving swift response times and positive customer reviews/feedback.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Strong written communicator.
• Positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
• Highly organised, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.
• Professional approach and the ability to coach others.
• Ability to work well under pressure, within a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible approach to work.
• Experience with proposals and loan decisions on a daily basis through a variety of means including credit scoring, credit history, and affordability analysis.
• Experience delivering customer-centric products or services.
• Experience working with finance systems and Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
