Rate £18.00 per hour [weekdays]. £20 per hour [weekends].

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Derby, driving DAYS - delivering to farms and businesses NATIONWIDE.

Driver Responsibilities:

Driving a Class I vehicle, following a planned route from the Clients site in Derby to farms and business across the UK typically in more rural area's.

Driver requirements and skills:

* You must be happy with Nationwide deliveries and driving in more rural areas
* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points.
* All paper work must be checked and completed as instructed
* Drivers are to download their DIGI card at the start and end of each shift
* Drivers are to follow site rules and procedures provided beforehand
* Drivers are to adhere to the 5 MPH speed limit whilst on site
* Handball may be required but only light and on the odd occasion
* Drivers are reminded of their responsibilities to Drivers hours legislation and RT(WT)R
* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
* Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
* You must have good geographical knowledge

Driver Key Information and Benefits:

* Rate is a minimum of £18.00 per hour [PAYE] + 28 day's holidays
* Continued professional development and in house DCPC periodic training will be provided [after a qualifying period]

Driver Shift time:

* Monday to Friday - DAYS
* Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
