Bodyshop Quality Controller

Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller – Croydon, Surrey

Due to an internal promotion, our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and career minded Vehicle Polisher / Quality Controller / Workshop Controller to join our family-run crash repair centre based in Croydon, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Quality Controller:

• Polishing vehicles after spraying to ensure a flawless finish
• Car washing and cleaning (removing overspray, hoovering, detailing interiors)
• Moving cars around the bodyshop and car park
• Conducting quality control checks, reviewing job cards, and ensuring repairs meet high standards
• Blocking, DA Polishing, and machine polishing a wide variety of vehicles
• Basic IT tasks, including photo uploads and ticking off quality checklists

About You:

• Previous experience in vehicle polishing or bodyshop work is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable with light computer work and handling job cards
• Full UK Driving License (essential)
• Willingness to assist with general tasks around the workshop and keep the bodyshop in top condition
• A team player with a can-do attitude

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Early finishes are common!
