• Salary: Basic Salary circa £37,000 depending on experience + bonus
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota
• Holidays: 24 days annual leave (increasing with service)

Assistant Service Manager required for our Client’s well-established independent garage based in the Leamington Spa area.

Our Automotive well-established independent garage Client is currently seeking a skilled Assistant Service Manager to assist managing their busy Service Department.

For your hard work as a Assistant Service Manager for our Client you can expect a salary of £40,000.

The hours of work in this Assistant Service Manager position are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota. 

Responsibilities as a Assistant Service Manager for our Client

• Distribute work to Technicians and ensure tasks are completed within set time frames and quality standards.
• Communicate with Customers and Service Advisors to keep them informed about the status of their vehicles.
• Generate customer quotes and invoices promptly.
• Organise and adapt the workshop’s work schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Track and oversee the completion of workshop activities.
• Provide technical guidance to the team when needed.

Requirements of this Assistant Service Manager Role

• Direct experience in managing a workshop team is advantageous.
• Strong, hands on technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Skilled at juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
• Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Strong communication abilities and customer service skills.
• A full driving licence is required.
