Mercedes-Benz South West is the trading name for City West Country Ltd, a privately-owned organisation with more than four decades of motor industry experience. Since being selected as one of Mercedes-Benz’s key business partners, Mercedes-Benz South West has enjoyed fantastic success. This included undertaking a multi-million-pound investment programme to create four state-of-the-art automotive retailing outlets aimed at enhancing sales and after sales facilities for customers. Mercedes-Benz of Exeter was the first of the new generation of Mercedes-Benz outlets to be unveiled in the UK when it commenced trading in January 2002 and it was followed by the opening of equally impressive premises across the West Country including Mercedes-Benz of Taunton ( 2004), Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth (2005) and Mercedes-Benz of Truro (2007). The group was named Mercedes-Benz Retailer of the Year for 2008 and has been awarded smart retailer of the year four times, most recently in February 2020. The business has also been recognised for its outstanding dedication to customer care, and has earned the Platinum Trusted Service Award by independent review platform Feefo. Chairman Anthony Wickins is determined that family values will remain at the heart of Mercedes-Benz South West for many years to come.
